Yesterday, 20 March, Apple announced the second generation of AirPods and according to the company's statement, they deliver "faster connect times, more talk time, and the convenience of hands-free Siri".
During this week, Apple updates its products daily, publishing information about it in press releases. Previously, the company updated the iMac, iPad Air, and iPad mini, and yesterday it was the turn of AirPods.
The novelty comes with a standard charging case or an optional wireless charging case. The cost of new headphones with the standard charging case is $159, or $199 with the wireless one.
Unfortunately, the updated line of AirPods doesn't include black headphones, which were a huge topic of discussions among many analysts.
AirPods 2 are available to order on the Apple website or Apple Store app now. At the end of March, it will be possible to purchase them from the physical Apple Stores.
