Earlier it was announced that Samsung intends to reorganize its line of smartphones. Some series are planned to merge into one, while others will be renamed. In doing so the company hopes to deal better with the increasing competition from Chinese brands. Now there is more detailed information about the upcoming reorganization of the company's line of smartphones.

In particular, Samsung intends to stop working with the Galaxy J, Galaxy On (renamed Galaxy J devices) and Galaxy brands C. All of them will be combined into a single line of Galaxy M smartphones. In the new low-end series, smartphones will be denoted with two numbers. Thus, we should expect the introduction of the Galaxy M30, M40 models etc. In the mobile devices of the Galaxy M series, it is planned to use LCD displays, which will allow keeping prices at a low level. However, a high-end model with an AMOLED display is also currently in development.

Also, there was partial information about the first two devices that will soon appear in the Galaxy M series. Smartphones with model numbers SM-M205F and SM-M305F will hit the market under the names Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30, respectively. SM-M205F model will be offered in two versions with an internal storage capacity of 32 and 64 GB. Smartphone SM-M305F is oriented towards more demanding customers. So, in this case, there will be available versions with 64 and 128 GB of internal flash memory. Samsung Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 smartphones will receive dual SIM-card support. They will be distributed in the countries of Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The new product's presentation date is still unknown.
