In a recent interview to CNBC, Apple CEO Tim Cook said the company will introduce new breakthrough services this year.
CNBC presenter Jim Cramer asked Cook how Apple was planning to further develop its service business, which approximately amounts to 40% of the company's products. As usual, the head of the corporation didn't go into details, but he outlined this year Apple would introduce completely new services.
Rumour has it that the Cupertino corporation will soon launch a news subscription service through the Texture magazine platform acquired last year. In addition, Apple continues to develop its original video content, which is also expected to come out in 2019.
Tim Cook also drew attention to the company's growing interest in the health industry, saying that in the future, when people ask how Apple had contributed to the development of mankind, the first connotation will be healthcare initiatives.
