Switch on your iPhone

A new pop-up message will offer you the chance to change your mind, asking, "You are about to delete your account permanently. Are you sure?"
Enter your password and security check again, and then click OK if you're sure that you won't need the account
A message will pop-up confirming the account deletion is pending and giving you another 14 days to change your mind before permanently deleted
Check your email within 14 days for a message with the caption "Account Scheduled for Deletion," and you will see a link to cancel the request if you later change your mind.
